At the Aguettant Mouvaux site, we are looking for a:

Production Supervisor M/F

Within the Production department, you will manage your team and coordinate its day-to-day activities:

• Ensure that your team works in optimal safety conditions and enforce occupational health and safety rules
• Ensure compliance with quality instructions and procedures in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice
• Ensure that the traceability of production batches is implemented (batch record, production and equipment logbooks)
• Steer and coordinate the running of the lines under your responsibility
• Manage the allocation of resources across the lines
• Carry out the production schedules in line with the production plan
• Ensure day-to-day coordination with the departments linked to production (Supply, Quality, HSE)
• Coordinate the maintenance / cleaning operations required for the smooth execution of the production plan
• Ensure that the production area is kept tidy and clean
• Diagnose and analyse any deviation / non-conformity incident and report it to your manager
• Monitor, analyse and comment on the industrial performance indicators of your team and report to your manager
• Propose action plans to address performance gaps

Managerial responsibilities:

• Manage the production staff assigned to your team (25-30 people working shifts)
• Support and train new starters
• Carry out daily shop-floor walks and contribute to the continuous improvement of the production area
• Ensure the link between teams and manage shift handovers
• Assess the performance achieved and the skills deployed, and propose development areas for your team to ensure multi-skilling within the team
• Guarantee that your team members hold the required level of qualification

You hold a pharmacy degree (industry specialisation) or a five-year higher education degree (Bac +5), such as an engineering degree, in the pharmaceutical field.

As a first-line manager, you have at least 3 years' initial experience in production management.

Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in a sector with strict quality requirements is desirable.

A good command of performance improvement tools is desirable.

Your recognised leadership and ability to motivate a team enable you to steer your whole team and gain its support for the company's guidelines. Your rigour, responsiveness, taste for challenges and interpersonal skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Your commitment, as well as your organisational skills, will be particularly appreciated.

As the role involves many interactions, good communication skills and a liking for teamwork are essential for a Production Supervisor and will help you settle in quickly.

This position is based on a two-shift pattern (05:00–13:05 or 13:00–21:05).
